Ntf. No. 40/2001 & 41/2001-CE(N.T.), Dt. 26/06/2001 (Export under Claim for Rebate of Duty - Rebate of Addl. Excise Duty & Rebate of Duty on Inputs Used in Export Goods - Rebate of Addl. Excise Duty Permissible)

G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 18 of the Central Excise Rules, 2002, the Central Government hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be further amended, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table.

1.	40/2001-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 26th June, 2001.	In the said notification, in the Explanation I, for clause (e), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:- "(e) additional duty of excise as levied under section 157 of the Finance Act, 2003 (32 of 2003).".
2.	41/2001-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 26th June, 2001.	In the said notification, in the Explanation, for clause (e), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:- "(e) additional duty of excise as levied under section 157 of the Finance Act, 2003 (32 of 2003)."
