Cenvat Credit Rule-9A(4) Amended

G.S.R. (E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the CENVAT Credit Rules, 2002, namely:-

1. (I) These rule may be called the CENVAT Credit (Ninth Amendment) Rules, 2003.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the CENVAT Credit Rules, 2002, in rule 9A, in sub-rule (4), for the figures and words 25th day of April, 2003, the figures and words 2nd day of May, 2003 shall be substituted.
