Anti-Dumping on Magnesia Originating Exports from PR Of China
Whereas in the matter of import of Fused Magnesia falling under Chapter 25 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), originating in, or exported from, the People's Republic of China, the Designated Authority vide its final findings, published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, Part I, Section 1, dated the 2nd February, 1999, has come to the conclusion that
- (i) Fused Magnesia originating in, or exported from, the People Republic of China has been exported to India below normal value, resulting in dumping;
(ii) The Indian industry has suffered injury in the form of material retardation to its establishment; and
(iii) The injury has been caused by the imports from the subject country.
