Appointment of the Director General (Safeguard)
G.S.R.-.(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 3 of the Customs Tariff (Identification and Assessment of Safeguard Duty) Rules, 1997 and in supersession of notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 115/2013 - Customs (N.T.), dated the 27th November, 2013, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide number G.S.R. 753(E), dated the 27th November, 2013, the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Ram Tirath as the Director General (Safeguard) for the purposes of the said rules.
