6.39.2
The status holder units shall be exempted from examination of import cargo at the Port of import. The jurisdictional Commissioner of Customs / Central Excise may, however, examine consignments at the units place on random basis.

The units will execute the B-17 bond to facilitate duty free imports/domestic procurement. The B17 Bond in such cases shall be without BG/Security or Surety,
