6.29
A fast track procedure will be separately notified for EOU/EPZ units with actual investment in plant and machinery, both imported and indigenous imported of Rs.5 crores and above.

A faster procedure covering also Custom and Excise operations will separately notified for EOU/EPZ units with actual investment in plant and machinery, both imported and indigenous imported of Rs 5 crores and above.]
Note: In the case of units under EHTP/STP schemes, necessary approvals/permission under relevant paragraphs of this Chapter shall be granted by the officer designated by the Ministry of Communication of Information & Technology (Department of Information & Technology) for the purpose instead of the Development Commissioner of EPZ and by the Inter-Ministerial Standing Committee (IMSC) instead of BOA.
