PROCEDURE FOR APPROVAL FOR UNITS LOCATED IN EPZ/FTZ

- Applications for setting up units in EPZs be submitted to the concerned DC of the EPZ. The Form is printed in the Handbook of Procedures for Export and Import, 1997-2002 published by the Ministry of Commerce and is also available at all outlets dealing in Government Publications. The application should be submitted along with a crossed demand draft of Rs.2500/- (licensed items) or Rs. 1000 (non-licensed items) drawn in favour of the "Pay & Accounts Officer, Department of Industrial Development, Ministry of Industry", payable at the State Bank of India, Nirman Bhavan Branch, New Delhi.
