Nuclear Power Projects
PARA 10.11B
Supply of goods required for setting up of any nuclear power project specified in List 35 to S.No 370 of the Customs Notification No 17 dtd 01.03.2001 having a capacity of 440 MW or more, as certified by an officer not below the rank of Joint Secretary to the Government of India in the Department of Atomic Energy, shall be entitled for deemed export benefits in cases where the procedure of Competitive Bidding (and not International Competitive Bidding) has been followed.
The domestic supplier supplying to such nuclear power plants shall be entitled for the benefits listed in paragraph 10.3 (a), (b) and (c) of the Exim Policy, whichever is applicable.
(This new para confers deemed export benefits to domestic supplies to specified nuclear power projects)
