DGFT allocates white sugar out of free sale quota for exports to EU - PN. No. 57/2006, DT. 25/09/2006

SO(E): In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, as amended, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in the Public Notice No.57(RE-2006)/2004-2009, dated 25th September, 2006 with immediate effect :

Paragraph 1 shall be amended as follows : -

In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.1, 2.4 and 2.29 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade hereby allocates a quantity of 3912 MT of white sugar out of free sale portion of 2005-06 seasons production and 6088 MT of white sugar out of free sale portion of 2006-07 seasons production for export to EU as preferential white sugar quota for the year 2006-07.

2. This issues in public interest.
