Amendment in Appendix 37D, Table-2, Serial number 11
In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby make the following amendment in the Handbook of Procedures Vol I (2009-14):
2. In Appendix 37D, Table-2, Sr.No.11, the “Note:” is amended to read as under:
Note : The expression "Handmade" would include Hand-Made, Hand-knotted, Hand-Tufted, Hand-Woven, Handloom and Braided."
(Above Note has been amended vide PN NO. 101/2010, DT. 29/02/2012)
[OLD- Note : The expression ‘Handmade’ would include Hand-Made, Hand-knotted, Hand-Tufted, Hand-Woven and Handloom. ]
Effect of this Public Notice
Earlier ‘Handloom’ was not included in the expression “Handmade” in the ‘Note’ in Table-2, Sr. No.11 of Appendix 37D. This has been rectified.
