Procedure for import of certain items under the India-Nepal Treaty of Trade signed on 2.3.2002-amendment therein.
1. Attention is invited to Public Notice No.12/2004-09 dated 4.10.2004 whereby the annual quota of 100,000MTs of Vegetable Fats (Vanaspati) for the financial year 2004-2005 from Nepal was permitted for import from 6.12.2004 to 5.3.2005. It has now been decided to extend the validity period for TRQ vanaspati imports from Nepal into India in respect of the current financial year 2004-05 upto 5.6.2005.
This issues in the Public interest.
