Shipment of Onion as per Not 50 dtd 22.3.02 & PN 7 dtd 12.4.02 extended upto 31.03.03

Attention is invited to the entry at Code No. 0703(a) in Table B of Schedule 2 in the book titled ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2002-2007.

2. In exercise of the powers conferred under Para 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002-2007, the Director General of Foreign Trade has decided to make following amendments in conditions for export of onions released as mentioned below:-

The unutilized balance quantity of onions released under quota to specified STEs vide Notification No. 50 (RE-2001)/1997-2002 dated 22.3.2002 and Public Notice No.7(RE-2002)/2002-2007 dated 12.4.2002 may be allowed for shipment for export upto 31st March, 2003.

3. This issues in Public interest.
