FEM (Export and Import of Currency) (Amendment) Regulations, 2009
1. Short Title and Commencement:-
(i) These regulations may be called as Foreign Exchange Management (Export and Import of Currency) (Amendment) Regulations, 2009.
(ii) They shall be come into effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Amendment to the Regulations:-
In the Foreign Exchange Management (Export and Import of Currency) Regulations, 2000 (Notification No. FEMA 6/2000-RB) dated May 3, 2000, in Regulation 3, in sub-regulation (1),
in clause (a), for the figures Rs.5000, the figures and words Rs. 7500 (Rupees seven thousand five hundred only) shall be substituted;
in clause (c), for the figures Rs.5000, the figures and words Rs. 7500 (Rupees seven thousand five hundred only) shall be substituted.
