DGFT allows M/s Puducherry Agro Service and Industries Corporation Ltd to import cement without standard mark

S.O. (E) - In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy-2004-09, the Central Government hereby amends Schedule-I (Imports) of the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2004-09 as under:

1. In second paragraph of Condition 6 of Classifications of Export and Import Items 2004-2009 notified vide Notification No. 23 dated 14th August, 2007 and amended vide Notification No. 26 dated 5th September, 2007, M/s MMTC Limited/ M/s Tamil Nadu Cements Corporation Ltd. (TANCEM), wherever appearing, shall be substituted by the following:

M/s MMTC Limited/ M/s Tamil Nadu Cements Corporation Ltd. (TANCEM)/ M/s Puducherry Agro Service and Industries Corporation Ltd. (PASIC)

2. This issues in public interest.
