DTA units supplying goods from DTA to SEZ units, being physical exports, are eligible - FPS for exports w.e.f 1.4.2006
2. The words (including SEZ units) is added in the Para 3.10.2 of FTP, 2004-2009 (RE2006 & RE2007) after the words to all countries.
3. The words or supplies made to such units in the Para 3.10.2.2 (b) of FTP, 2004-2009 (Updated as on 19.4.2007) is deleted.
This shall take effect from 1.4.2006.
Consequently it is clarified that DTA units supplying goods from DTA to SEZ units, being physical exports, are eligible for benefits under Focus Product Scheme for exports w.e.f 1.4.2006 provided payment for such supplies is received in free foreign exchange by applicant DTA units.
This issues in Public interest.
