Amendment in Para 2.31 of Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020
S.O. (E): In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of FT (D&R) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby incorporates Para 2.31 (III) as under:

| III | Second Hand Goods imported for the purpose of repair / refurbishing / re - conditioning or re - engineering. | Free | Subject to condition that waste generated during the repair / refurbishing of imported items is treated as per domestic Laws/ Rules/ Orders / Regulations/ technical specifications/ Environmental /safety and health norms and the imported item is re - exported back as per the Customs Notification. |
2. Effect of this Notification: Import policy for Second Hand Goods imported for the purpose of repair / refurbishing / re - conditioning or re - engineering is laid down.
