Condition No. 18 of Chapter 1A (General Notes Regarding Import Policy) - Will not apply to import of Soyabean Oil till 31/12/2007

S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy-2004-09, the Central Government hereby amends Schedule-I (Imports) of the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2004-09 as under:

Condition No. 18 of notified vide Notification No.2 (RE-2006)/2004-2009 dated 7.4.2006 will not apply to import of Soyabean Oil till 31.12.2007.

This is in continuation to earlier Notification No. 21 (RE-2006) /2004-2009 dated 20th July, 2006.

This issues in public interest.
