Export Policy of Fertilisers under Chapter 31 of ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import Items 2018
S.O.(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992), as amended, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2015-2020, the Central Government hereby makes the amendments, with immediate effect, in Chapter 31 of ITC(HS) Classification - Schedule 2 (Export Policy):
2. The existing entries against Chapter 31 of ITC(HS) Classification - Schedule 2 (Export Policy) will be substituted as under (changes made are in bold letters).:

The procedure to obtain prior permission/ NoC of the Department of Fertilizers for export of fertilizers, wherever laid down, has been prescribed vide Public Notice No. 67/2015-20 dated 7th January, 2019.
(Above Note 2 has been corrected vide NOTIFICATION NO. 52/2018, DT. 08/01/2019)
[OLD- The procedure to obtain prior permission/ NoC of the Department of Fertilizers for export of fertilizers,wherever laid down,has been prescribed vide Public Notice No. 69 /2015- 20 dated ih January, 2019.]
3. Effect of this Notification:
Export Policy of Fertilizers have been revised and items under 'Restricted' category moved to ' Free' category subject to prior permission I No Objection Certificate (NOC) to be obtained by the manufacturers / exporters from the Department of Fertilizers, and compliance of other laid down conditions.
