Adddition in Table B under Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) (1001)
With immediate effect, the following new entry may be inserted after entry at Sl. No.46 of Chapter 3 in Table B under Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) : -

Sub-heading Note : The term durum wheat means wheat of the Triticum durum species and the Hybrids derived from the inter-specific crossing of Triticum durum which have the same number (28) of chromosomes as that species.
2. The above mentioned shall remain in force upto 31.12.2007.
2A. Export of 2000 Metric Tonnes of wheat shall be allowed to Myanmar during the year 2007-2008 under specific authorization by the EFC of DGFT.

3. The transitional arrangements under Para 1.5 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 ( updated as on 7th April, 2006) shall not be applicable for export of the aforesaid items.
