Minimum Export Price of Onions
2. The phrase Minimum Export Price(MEP) of US$ 225 per Metric Ton F.O.B. or as notified by DGFT from time-to-time as appearing in para 2 (a) of Notification No 36(RE-2010)/2009-2014 dated 23.03.2011 for the item description at Serial Number 44.01 of Notification No 24(RE2010)/2009-2014 dated 18.02.2011 is replaced by the phrase "Minimum Export Price(MEP) of US$ 200 per Metric Ton F.O.B. or as notified by DGFT from time-to-time". [OLD- Minimum Export Price(MEP) of US$ 170 per Metric Ton F.O.B. or as notified by DGFT from time-to-time.]
(In above NOTIFICATION the description "Minimum Export Price(MEP) of US$ 200 per Metric Ton F.O.B. or as notified by DGFT from time-to-time" has been replaced by NTF. NO. 56/2010, DT. 08/06/2011)
3. Effect of this notification:
Minimum Export Price (MEP) of onions other than Bangalore Rose Onions and Krishnapuram onions will be US$ 170 per Metric Ton F.O.B. It was US$ 225 per Metric Ton as notified on 23.03.2011. There shall be no change in the MEP of Bangalore Rose Onion and Krishnapuram onion which continues to be USD 600 per Metric Ton F.O.B.
