Amendments in Policy conditions in Chapter 68 - Articles of stone, plaster, cement, asbestos, mica or similar materials
1. The Policy conditions of the following Exim Codes will be amended:

| 681011 | Building blocks and bricks: | ||
| 68101110 | Cement bricks | Free | However, import of rough / unprocessed blocks and slabs of agglomerated / artificial stones shall be restricted. Import of processed tiles /slabs of agglomerated / artificial stones shall be permitted freely, provided cif value is US$ 50 and above per square meter. |
| 68101190 | Other | Free | However, import of rough / unprocessed blocks and slabs of agglomerated / artificial stones shall be restricted. Import of processed tiles /slabs of agglomerated / artificial stones shall be permitted freely, provided cif value is US$ 50 and above per square meter |

2. Importers of the aforementioned items of agglomerated/artificial stones, wishing to avail Transitional Arrangements under Para 1.5 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, as amended from time to time, may apply to DGFT Headquarters, New Delhi within two weeks of issue of this Notification, along with details of their respective LCs and contracts.
