Amendments in the Table B of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2004-09.
(i) In Chapter 2 captioning Meat and Edible Meat Offal the following Note 6 may be inserted after Note 5
Export of meat and meat products will be allowed subject to the exporter furnishing a certificate to the customs at the time of export that the above items have been obtained/sourced from an abattoir/ meat processing plant registered with APEDA.
(ii) In Column No.6 i.e. Nature of Restriction, condition No. 2 in respect of entries at Sl. No. 19 and 23 and condition No. (1) in respect of entries at Sl. No. 20,21,22,24 and 25 may be amended to read as follows:
